Age Eligibility: 10-16

Cost: $180

What is included money?: 12 week program (6 weeks of skills & 6 week competition), Equipment hire (Helmets, Pads, Pants), GNSW Registration fee for insurance

Where: Waratah Athletics Track, Rawson Ave Sutherland

When: Wednesdays 6pm – 7:15pm (Starting September 20th)

Program Format

The current format for the Sutherland Seahawks Juniors Program separate from the Colts program. The Juniors Program seeks to have participants learn basic fundamental skills as a whole group, then splitting into teams which finalises in an interclub competition at the end of the program. Teams within the club will be managed by Colts players seeking to move into a coaching position within the Sutherland Seahawks club.

Seasonal Plan*

Week 1 – 6 (Sep 20, Sep 27, Oct 4, Oct 11, Oct 18, Oct 25) – Basic skills & Introduction (Catching, Blocking, Running, Reaction, Throwing), Whole group skills – Blocking and Running, Receiving and Throwing, Tackling, Team based training

Week 7 – 12 (Nov 1, Nov 8, Nov 15, Nov 22, Nov 29, Dec 6) – Inter Team Competition (Dec 13 back up weekend)
