April 30th 2016,

An exciting start to the draft for Baylor with WR Corey Coleman being taken #15 to the Browns and the first WR overall. A huge achievement for him personally and for the program. Coach Art Briles and Coach Kendall Briles were at the Draft in Chicago with Coleman for the announcement.

The situation is no clearer for Blake. It will be tomorrow before a more confident and hopeful idea on where Blake might end up will be available. Green Bay, Kansas City, San Diego are still the more likely possibilities.

As per last year, members of the Baylor football team visited Fort Hood for a day to experience military training life

There is 1 week remaining for the NFL Draft. Blake and his agent will be closely watching how teams draft in the early rounds to determine what may happen for him either being drafted or which teams should best be considered in free agency. There are multiple teams showing interest, visits to Kansas City and Green Bay place them high in consideration as well as Baltimore and Dallas.

2 weeks to go and most of the work for Blake is in the hands of others. Teams need to consider all the information they have and decide where all the prospects fit on their draft boards. It was disclosed on twitter and the team’s website that Blake visited the Kansas City Chiefs, there are other teams strongly in the mix. April 28th the draft starts and goes for 3 days.

Baylor’s Spring is over and the players are now in full study mode. Crazy to think that there are only 4 more weeks of school left for the spring semester. Sean is getting over his ankle injury which has occurred at the worst possible time to make an impact in the 2 deep depth chart. The #2 Center spot is up for grabs. Thankfully a good summer training period will prep him to make a challenge, so many new faces on the OL this year.

The bears conducted a Spring scrimmage over the weekend at the stadium. Here’s how it went.

Sean will possibly sit out the remainder of the Spring practices to allow his ankle to heal and rehab without risk of further injury.
