The Sutherland Seahawks defeated the North West Sydney Predators Colts team 54-0 in Newcastle on saturday.

The defense again shone brightly, two more return touchdowns, one interception return for 53 yards to cornerback Dylan Dinale and the second to Aaron O’Neill off a forced fumbled near the Predators goal line by linebacker Jackson Young.

The offense did not score on its opening drive, although the play of the game possibility occurred during that possession. QB Daniel Besz threw a rare interception but made up for it by chasing down the defender, forcing a fumble with a huge hit, then recovering the fumble to retain possession.

Touchdowns were shared across the offense. Haoping Tang scored on the ground and in the air whilst Besz scored on the ground as well as throwing a second touchdown to tight end Jake Wedesweiler and running back Corey Delvalle who scored his first 6 pointer.

The Seahawks will have 2 weeks off before taking on the Sydney University Cubs, another undefeated team so far in 2015.

SEAHAWKS 54, PREDATORS 0.
